Tickets for our Santa trains are non-refundable, unless we are unable to operate the trains for operational or safety reasons. Santa trains operate at a time of year where the weather is unpredictable.  In the event of Amber or Red Severe Weather Warnings affecting your journey to the railway we will refund your tickets if you have opted in to this additional charge.

This charge itself is not refundable.

You may opt out of this additional charge by selecting no here, but your tickets will not be refunded in the event that you are unable or unwilling to travel on the day.

Terms and Conditions:

Severe Weather Protection – Optional additional ticket charge.

  1. Tickets for our Santa Trains are purchased on a firm basis and are not refundable unless we are unable to operate trains for operational or safety reasons that are within our control or direct responsibility.
  2. In the event that you are unable to travel to the railway or choose not to travel to the railway on the specified time and date as a result of weather conditions when a severe weather warning at either Amber or Red level with potential danger to life has been issued by the Met Office that directly affects your journey to the railway the cost of your tickets will be refunded if you have chosen to pay the optional additional ticket charge.
  3. The optional additional ticket charge is not refundable.
  4. Refunds will not apply in the event of Yellow weather warnings or if no weather warnings have been made or if the weather warnings do not affect your route to the railway.
